After navigating the rapid advances in AI and the global uncertainty of 2025, how can we keep our minds peaceful and fulfilled, rather than confused or impoverished? In 2026, Dharma Drum Mountain has chosen “Blessings and Joy in Abundance” as its annual theme, with the hope of offering blessings and peace to all.

Master Sheng Yen reminds us that all things arise from the mind. True abundance does not come from wealth, fame, or power, but from appreciating blessings and repaying the kindness of others. By slowing down to appreciate nature—the mountains, clouds, and flowing water—our minds open and expand. When we find direction in Buddhism, even in challenging circumstances, our minds remain calm and free. Gratitude and contentment allow us to see beauty in life, even with little material wealth.

Follow Master Sheng Yen’s wisdom through this video, and embark on a journey from the mind. May you cultivate calm amid turmoil, wisdom amid busyness, and joy amid impermanence—welcoming genuine happiness and abundance in the new year with a pure, grounded mind.
