《The Vow Never Ceases • The Founding Never Ends》

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Dharma Drum Mountain World Center for Buddhist Education.

Looking back, Master Sheng Yen founded Dharma Drum Mountain with a compassionate vow—to dedicate his life to the Three Jewels and the Dharma, and to guide disciples in building a spiritual monastery upon barren land.

Today, that once desolate ground has become a pure land where the Threefold Education is practiced. From the original aspiration to the transmission of the Dharma lineage, every step reflects the silent dedication of countless volunteers, whose efforts have shaped the spirit and glory of Dharma Drum Mountain.

Let us return to those early days, when Master Sheng Yen and his disciples worked hand in hand. Through his teachings, we witness volunteers illuminating the night sky—the living expression of an ever-continuing compassionate vow.

This video honors every contributor. With deep gratitude and remembrance, may it inspire us all to renew our vows and become lights on the path ahead.
